A few days ago death was an abstract certitude, a future event always superceded by more immediate concerns. An hour ago it had become very real, an immediate and terrifying possibility. What remained was a kind of simmering fear spiced with frequent episodes of sexual arousal. In my case, one of them simply attached a leash on my labia ring with a tiny padlock.
They led us to the Kitchen like a pair of cows. It was my childhood fantasy come true, just as Lyle had said! I was an animal being led to slaughter. I was a prisoner, captured by cannibals for meat. Only this time it was terribly, erotically, deliciously real! The Kitchen here is a stainless steel, butcher block marvel.

Mallard pseudo-penis [ dubious — discuss ] Most male birds e. Among bird species with a penis are paleognathes tinamous and ratites and Anatidae ducks, geese and swans. While most male birds have no external genitalia, male waterfowl Anatidae have a phallus. Most birds mate with the males balancing on top of the females and touching cloacas in a “cloacal kiss”; this makes forceful insemination very difficult.

Pedestrian Animal Attacks Injuries caused by a dog bite or other animal attack can be very serious and traumatic. People can be physically scarred and can also suffer psychological problems for life, for example, they may develop a fear of animals or not want to go out alone. Animal owners’ responsibilities Animal owners and keepers have duty to ensure their animals don’t cause an injury.
The Dangerous Dogs Act also requires owners of some breeds of dog to keep them muzzled when in public. Guard dogs have to have an experienced handler and there must be a warning notice about them. Compensation for animal attacks There is often a misconception that claims for attacks by dogs are usually only allowed if the dog has shown previous sings of aggression – this is most certainly not the case.

August At Attacking during daylight meant that Poles were shot by German machine gun fire. Although many partisan groups were waiting throughout the city, the movement of thousands of young men and women was hard to hide. However, they did not realize the Poles could do such a large attack. However, Castle Square, the police district, and the airport were held by the Germans.
However, several major German strongholds remained, and in some areas of Wola the Poles had to retreat. In Praga , on the east bank of the Vistula, the Poles were sent back into hiding by a large number of German forces. By 4 August most of the city was held by Polish forces. Healey, Ossett At one time, Healey was one of several individual villages that made up the larger settlement of Ossett. Over the years it has gradually been subsumed into the larger conurbation of Ossett, but Healey boasts an interesting and long-standing history dating back to Roman times and before. Some of Ossett’s earliest mills were built at Healey and in turn, the area has seen large scale industrial development with William Gartside’s dye works, the Ossett Gas Company, the Healey railway marshalling yards, coal mines and sewerage farms.
The industrialization of the area led to a number of houses being built for the influx of workers who came to Healey to work in the mills and the dye works. Ancient Beginnings The area of Heley or Healey extends roughly from the bottom of what is now Healey Road, westwards towards Earlsheaton, roughly where the Yorkshire Water Mitchell Laithes sewerage treatment farm is located.
Responding to a government-commissioned report on the need for a complete overhaul of the system, the City, on January 1, , formed the Public Service Commission (renamed the Halifax Water Commission in ) to operate and manage the water utility.
The Great Isaac sits in 90 feet of water and is intact lying on it’s port left side. The Great Isaac was a part of the Normandy beach invasion and the captain at the time received a bronze start for meritorious duty under fire. It’s sunk about half way into the sandy bottom and it’s rapidly deteriorating.
Artifacts are still abundant, since half the wreck is buried and washing out with more access areas. Mussels can be scraped from the upper parts of the wreck and are, therefore, cleaner with less sand in them. The Great Isaac now has many entrances into her inner compartments for divers with experience and training in wreck penetrations. The wreck lies in two sections. Bow or the South East Wreck The bow grounded after the attack and now lies in 60 feet of water 5 miles south east of Barnegat Light.
This section was cleared to a depth of forty feet.

Few interests have exerted a more marked influence upon the history of the United States than that of the fisheries.
Aside from the value they have had in a commercial point of view, they have always been found to be the nurseries of a hardy, daring, and indefatigable race of seamen, such as scarcely any other pursuit could have trained.

We call these fish “Sippers” and can be caught on a small fly which some call a “snot” fly. I tyed a few today on 8 hooks while waiting for the rain to end and keeping an eye on a tornado near Swansboro only about 10 miles away. We also have lots of Spanish Mackerel near the shoals and some Jacks. I have three tailing drum trips this week.
Usually some of the best fishing of the season is the first two weeks of Nov. Hope to see you soon. Last two days I fished with two excellent saltwater fly fishermen who fought wind gusts to 30 mph. The attached picture was Brendan’s first red drum on a fly. He caught the fish on a copper head fly that I tie with a worm rattle in the fly.
After a few pictures, the drum was released back in the water for someone else to catch and release. Inshore trips were very good with lots of Amberjack and plenty of bottom fish. The bigger Flounder have shown up at the near shore wrecks and finger mullet being the bait of choice. This activity will also attarct lot of pelagic fish near the inlets and along the beach.

These Hopes were confirmed by the Proclamation issued in the Year , plighting the public Faith for your full Enjoyment of those advantages therein solemnly promised. Rulers stimulated by the pernicious “Effort,” and Subjects, animated by the just “Intent of opposing good Laws against it,” have that vast Variety of Dissensions, that fill the Histories of so many Nations.
And upon this Model, tho on a smaller Scale, has been form’d the Constitution of each British Colony , and that also, by an indissoluble Right vested in you are with which by an unalienable Title You have been invested. The first grand Right under all these, is that, of the People having a Share in the Government of themselves, By this, is secured to them their own Government by their Representatives chosen by themselves and in Consequence thereof, being ruled by Laws which they themselves approve, not by Edicts of Men over whom they have no Controul.
The Influence of this Right extends still farther. The next great Right, is that of Trial by Jury. The last Right We shall mention, relates to personal Another Right relates merely to the Liberty of the person. The last Right We shall mention, regards the Freedom of the Press. These are the invaluable Rights that form a considerable Part of that mild and equitable System of Government

Now, snaking around the snout of Nova Scotia and into the Gulf of Maine is a new, unseen threat to Yarmouth Bar and hundreds of coastal communities in Maine, eastern New England and the Maritimes: The Gulf of Maine — which extends from Cape Cod in Massachusetts to Cape Sable at the southern tip of Nova Scotia, and includes the Bay of Fundy, the offshore fishing banks, and the entire coast of Maine — has been warming rapidly as the deep-water currents that feed it have shifted.
Pershing says that the warming the Gulf of Maine is currently experiencing is unprecedented, both in its speed and temperature.

Belgium Belgium There is some question whether or not Arthur Hutson was on the ship when it was torpedoed. Maritime Insurance files show he was a casualty and war risk insurance was paid to his wife. A crew list made up and sent to the home office shows he was not aboard when the ship left St. Thomas when the torpedo hit. The lights went out and we were thrown around the room.
We ran forward and up the escape hatch to the poop deck where we were covered in water up to our waist.
