I’ve been very happy owning a Nokia for 8 months now. After possesing an iPhone 3gs, followed by a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, it was time for a new handset. Because I would own it for 2 years I really wanted to make a good decision. A couple of months comparing differtent flagships finally made me decide. The Nokia was a winner because of the camera specs and I very much liked the design. I was really nervous about missing out on apps but after a fews days I noticed I didn’t miss out on anything. If the original app isn’t available a third party app comes to help. Although I bought the phone because of the camera, this WAS the only feature that was really disappointing. Launching the camera app was very slow and the quality of the pictures was disappointing. After the Denim update this all changed.

By Matt Petronzio Whether you’re trying to keep track of different browser tabs at work or you need more on-the-go workspace for your business trip, a tablet can act as a handy second monitor and a boon to productivity. Tablet use is certainly on the rise. Apple unveiled the iPad Mini on Oct. But owners don’t have to use tablets in the traditional sense to get the most out of their devices — add a tablet to your overall desktop setup to streamline productivity.
Unlike Amazon’s Echo speakers, which you can shout at from across the room (or even another room) to call up Alexa, you have to long press on the Fire tablet’s virtual home button to launch Alexa.
Mike Freeman August 24, Projects 14 Comments Ground Loop Isolator Eliminating buzzing and high pitch squeals in your home audio equipment can be a pain. This situation can occur when you have two or more electronic devices interconnected by either video or audio cables and they develop a slight electrical difference in their grounding with the power system. The voltage difference can be heard as a buzz or squeal in the speakers and if its large enough, it can damage your equipment.
I could hear a horrendous squeal in my speakers that was as loud as the normal games sounds. Surprisingly, the noise was not between my PS2 and the stereo. It was from the projector. The voltage was back feeding from the video ground of the projector through the PS2 audio grounds and then to my stereo.
The J6 is large as such, sticking out of my pocket like a nerd pack. Nonetheless, it’s still tiny, measuring 0. It weighs a mere 7. It comes with a small power adapter that connects via a USB cable. Inside is a 4, mAh rechargeable battery that Favi says can project for 2 hours between charges. With a native by resolution, the J6 has a rated brightness of lumens.
Nov 06, · I just want to have this clear, before I commit to buy the Nexus 9. I would like to use this device to make/give presentations; that is, being able to load a ppt (or similar file format) presentation, connect to a projector (possibly through VGA) and to write/make annotations to this presentation (with a stylus). Is this possible with the Nexus 9?
As a matter of fact, if your missions use Hohmann trajectories, the lift-off portion will take about the same delta V as does the Hohmann from Terra to the destination planet. As Heinlein put it: Heinlein and I were discussing the perils of template stories: As readers may have suspected, many future histories begin with stories that weren’t necessarily intended to fit together when they were written. Unfortunately, in “Blowups Happen” a capability for orbiting large payloads had been developed.
If you can get a ship into orbit, you’re halfway to the Moon. In other words it takes more delta V to travel the pathetic kilometers up to Low Terra Orbit as it does to travel the , , kilometers to Mars! From Low Terra Orbit, where can you travel to with 7. Oh, only to the Planet Saturn, 1, , , kilometers towards the edge of the entire solar system.
But the delta V cost breakdown is interesting. Getting into orbit takes just a little bit of delta V. It is making sure you stay in space that takes a freaking lot of delta V. A little sounding rocket can easily rise from 50 to 1, kilometers above Terra’s surface, where outer space starts about kilometers up. Then the propellant runs out, and the poor little rocket finds itself unsupported hundreds of kilometers up.
Click here to view MHL cables in our online store However, while MHL is an industry standard meaning that in theory the same cable should be compatible with all MHL-enabled devices , that is not the case — some use an 11 pin arrangement, others use a 5 pin arrangement. The point of this post therefore is to tell you which MHL cable is compatible with your device. While we do cover Samsung MHL cables below as well as cables for other manufacturers , we now have a more detailed post that you may find useful if you use a Samsung handset: However, there are still some differences.

Sony Xperia E 1. The default one is Automatic, which also optimizes the contrast dynamically in response to the available ambient light. When you use the phone in bright light, it would brighten up any dark on-screen areas to make them better legible. The standard contrast mode doesn’t have that but it offers very accurate color rendering with an average DeltaE of 3. Finally, there is the Increased Contrast, which visually oversaturates all colors, in case that’s your thing.
Additionally, there is a Reading mode similar to Apple’s Night Shift. It removes the blue hues in line with recent trends as they potentially interfere with your sleep quality when you use the device just before bedtime. For extra convenience, you can configure this mode to be enabled only for selected apps. Battery life The Xiaomi Mi 6 has a sealed battery of 3, mAh.
The phone supports Quick Charge 3. We ran our battery test and the Xiaomi Mi 6 scored an 80h rating, which surprisingly is lower than the Mi 5’s rating. The culprit is the Mi 6’s relatively high power draw in standby mode because otherwise, it scored better in the three individual test of calling, web browsing and video. This unusual power consumption in standby might be software-related and fixed with a future update.
